Rennie McConnochie - Senior Advisor

Rennie started his career as an oil analyst at Wood Mackenzie in 1985. He joined Smith New Court in 1988, and joined the main board of the company in 1995. Following the takeover of Smith New Court by Merrill Lynch later that year, Rennie went on to run the European equity business, and then Investment Research in the region. In 2004 Rennie went on to join Bridgewell, a UK small and mid cap investment bank, where he ultimately became CEO, listing the business in 2006. In July 2007 Rennie became a partner at the emerging markets hedge fund RP Capital.
